Mr. Guida (Ken) grew up in the Northern Virginia area. He began his career in medicine while participating in wilderness search and rescue. He continued his learning at Northern Virginia Community College and graduated Cum Laude with two Associates Degrees and passed state and national registries to become a Paramedic. Later, he attended UMBC and earned his Critical Care Transport Paramedic (CCEMTP) designation. After much prayer and hard work, he graduated from James Madison University in 2002 with his Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a focus in Physician Assistant studies. Upon graduating, he passed his boards to be certified as a Physician Assistant and gained an additional board certification in surgery. Since beginning practice as a PA-C in 2002, Ken has worked in Orthopedic Surgery, Cardiology, and Emergency Medicine. He joined the Center for Orthopedic Excellence in 2014. Ken practices general orthopedics and enjoys the variety of working in the office as well as assisting during surgery.
